Amateur Soft Hockey Federation
Soft Hockey is a game played between two teams. Each team consists 12 (Twelve) players. 6 (six) on the field and 6 (six) in reserve. Soft Hockey played with field hockey stick and soft ball. The aim of the game is to score more number of goals to win the match against the opponent. The ball can be dribbled, passed between the same team players to achieve the aim of this game. Game can be played on any hard surface like concrete, wooden, Synthetic Turf, Grass and plane Court. Soft Hockey is non-injury game. Soft Hockey is an Indian Game. Soft Hockey playing field is 40X20 meter. The Game is played on hard surface cement grass, wooden ground. Amateur Soft Hockey Federation is running. The Soft Hockey game in the entire country. Amateur Soft Hockey Federation of India which is a sport affiliated Asian Soft Hockey Federation & International Soft Hockey Federation. The Soft Hockey game started in 2008 from Jaipur Rajasthan and being played in around 34 states and being played around Soft Hockey is played in about 8000 primary, 10,000 middle and 5000 senior school all over India. The Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior National tournament game is held across the country. They are about 22 University playing soft hockey game. 4 International championships have been held at the international level in this year. There will be Asian & South Asian Championship and 1st Indian Soft Hockey League has already been organized in Jaipur (Raj.). Age determination: The participant's age as on 1st January of current year will determine his/her age group.
Team
Each team shall contain 10 players including substitutes, players along with one coach, one assistant coach and one team manager. Each player must be eligible to play and authorized by the organizing body.
One goalkeeper and nine field players. These field players can include forwards, defenders. Remaining four players in that team shall be the substitute players.
Each player shall wear a shirt numbered on the front and back. The number should be clearly visible. Players of the same team shall wear identical uniforms.
The game can be started with a minimum of 7 players in one team on the field.
International Gold Medals
The Indian men's and women's teams delivered outstanding performances in the Indo-Bhutan Series, winning gold medals in both categories.
